I've never understood why the Windows default is to not show file extensions. I also have File Manager set to show file extensions (like. I have my downloads directed to the Downloads folder. (I'm not trying to insult you, if you are already familiar with installers.) You'd have to run the installer to, er, install the application. The download is an installer (.exe file, 681MB for the Windows version). Use to update in other editions but not anymore. Last time I just deleted the old one and replaced it. Yes, after downloading, it does not appear in any folder that I can see. I get Camera Raw through the Creative Cloud app, so I'm not inclined to test it. It appears that the installer for Camera Raw 14.2 (the latest) is available for download.
